Elementary Office Support Secretary
About the role
This position supports the operations of the school's main office and provides assistance to the Office Manager and Building Administrator(s). The Secretary enters student attendance and registration records in the Skyward system and maintains manual files; monitors the student health room; answers telephone calls; greets all office visitors; provides support services for students, parents, staff, and the public.

Requirements
- 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- One of the following:
- Hold a post-secondary or advanced degree; or
- Earned a minimum of ten (10) relevant college credits; or
- Have three (3) years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to quickly learn the use and application of student information system software
- Previous experience in a position requiring public contact and interaction with racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse communities
Schedule
7 hours a day; 190 day calendar. Continuing position with reasonable assurance of employment to the following school year. Work hours, locations, and designated beginning and ending times may vary.
Pay
Hourly rate: $35.83 (2026-2027 Office Personnel Salary Schedule, effective September 1, 2026). FLSA status: Non-exempt.
