Elementary ELL Teaching Assistant - Full-time

This is a 10-month, full-time, school-term only position working 7 hours per day, split between Clearview Elementary and Washington Elementary.

About the role

Responsible for providing academic support to small groups of students under the supervision of the ELL teacher, in addition to providing clerical support as needed.

Pay

At least $14.06 per hour minimum. Offered rate will be based on experience and internal equity.

Requirements

• Must meet Highly Qualified status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications

Proficient bilingual English/Spanish skills highly preferred.
