Elementary Education Teacher

Job Description

The Elementary Education Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in a variety of subjects to students in grades K-5. This position requires a strong commitment to education and a passion for working with young learners.

• Plan and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and educational goals.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback to both students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and understanding among all students and staff.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in elementary education or a related field.
• A valid teaching license from the state of Virginia.
• At least three years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay

The starting salary for this position is $49,865.00 per year, with potential for growth based on performance and experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical school schedule including summers off.
