About the role
Extended day support staff provide activities for children, make a snack for children, prepare and maintain organization of materials, support children in engaging in activities, guide them through social interactions, and close down the kitchen. Applicants should understand the importance of preparing an environment so it is organized, clean, and ready for children and adolescents to use. This role provides after (and before) school care to our students and offers a safe place for after school activities.
Qualified candidates will love working with a team to meet the needs of children in a busy, fun, and respectful work and play environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide activities for children
- Prepare snacks for children
- Maintain organization of materials and environment
- Support children in engaging in activities and guide them through social interactions
- Close down the kitchen
- Supervise groups of children as well as individual children both indoors and outdoors
- Communicate honestly, regularly, and proactively
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Opportunity for additional hours from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM if interested
Pay
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
