Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a full-time experienced, motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for our Cardiology Electrophysiology (EP) practice. This position includes inpatient and outpatient EP work at UHS Hospitals Wilson Square and Wilson Medical Center.
About the role
The Electrophysiology Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide electrophysiology care and treatment to cardiac patients under the direction of physicians. Responsibilities include ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient clinical problems and healthcare needs, recording physical findings, and formulating plans and prognoses based on the patient's condition to ensure excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrophysiology care and treatment to patients in hospital and office settings
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Record physical findings and formulate care plans and prognoses
- Discuss cases with physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements
- Graduate (or upcoming graduate) of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current certificate of registration from the NCCPA
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pay
Annual compensation range: $136,600 – $159,300
