Electronics Technician, Mid
Fabricate, repair, and maintain electronics systems and equipment. Create prototypes based on schematics, engineering drawings, complex manuals, and other technical documentation. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision and provide guidance for less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
- Maintain air traffic control radars, including AN-30 or GPN-30
- Use FAA or military radar analysis tools such as Radar Siting Tool, WinPlot, WRTADS, RBAT, ASR-11 Radar Tool Box, RADES RS4, DRAMS Radar Propagation, or Radar Cross Section Modeling Tool
- Perform wind turbine mitigation
- Research new technologies
- Travel up to 25% of the time
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Qualifications
- Experience with air traffic control radars and related tools
- Ability to research new technologies
- Ability to travel
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience with air traffic control
- Ability to perform leadership and maintenance tasks
- Completion of a Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics or Military Formal Electronics Training from a Technical School or Military School in Electronics for Radar Systems

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.
