Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform depot-level troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on legacy inertial navigation systems, including AN/WSN-5 INS, along with AN/WSN-2/2A, MK-27, and MK-39 Gyrocompasses.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components in accordance with NAVSEA and DoD technical manuals.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with engineers and customers.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED. Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.
- Experience: Two years of experience to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout.
About the Role
SOLVERE is seeking Inertial Electronics Technician I. The Technician performs depot-level troubleshooting and repairs on circuit cards, modules, and assemblies used in U.S. Navy Navigation systems. This person plays a critical role in keeping high-value electronic systems operational by diagnosing and repairing inertial systems such as: AN/WSN-2/2A, AN/WSN-5, MK-27 Gyro, MK-39 Gyro, and associated inertial sensors.

Salary commensurate with experience.
