Essential Job Functions

  • Performs testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs of electrical/electronics of NC and CNC controls
  • PLC software programming
  • CAD
  • Maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting machine tools, control circuits, electro/mechanical and/or hydraulic servo portions of systems
  • Maintenance of plant power distribution
  • Installation, programming and set-up of Servo, Variable Frequency and Digital AC and DC drive systems.
  • Performs repairs, adjustments, alignments, and calibration or ENF equipment and systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two-Year Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent in experience of 4-6 years in NC, CNC, and PLC controls
  • Through understanding of electrical practices, capabilities and quality requirements
  • Basic knowledge of machine tools including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
  • Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
  • Strong math skills and problem solving ability
  • Able to work well with a team while also working independently
  • Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access and Excel)
