Essential Job Functions
- Performs testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs of electrical/electronics of NC and CNC controls
- PLC software programming
- CAD
- Maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting machine tools, control circuits, electro/mechanical and/or hydraulic servo portions of systems
- Maintenance of plant power distribution
- Installation, programming and set-up of Servo, Variable Frequency and Digital AC and DC drive systems.
- Performs repairs, adjustments, alignments, and calibration or ENF equipment and systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Two-Year Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent in experience of 4-6 years in NC, CNC, and PLC controls
- Through understanding of electrical practices, capabilities and quality requirements
- Basic knowledge of machine tools including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
- Strong math skills and problem solving ability
- Able to work well with a team while also working independently
- Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access and Excel)
