Electronics Technician I

About the role

The Electronics Technician I position at Choptank Electric is responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and wiring.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Document work performed and report findings to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with electrical systems and tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Wiring and installation techniques.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Use of testing equipment.

Pay

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
