Electronics Technician
About the role
The Instrumentation Technician performs installations, scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration and safety inspections of electronic, mechanical, information and communication equipment and systems. Work assigned ranges from moderate to advance in difficulty, in some cases requiring specialized and/or advanced training.
Responsibilities
- Performs installations, scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration and safety inspections of electronic, mechanical, information and communication equipment and systems.
- Works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and coordinates work with other caregivers within the department.
- Prioritizes duties to ensure a minimum of operational downtime and maximize the efficient use of equipment.
- Some work may be performed by contractors under the supervision of the electronics technician.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent education/experience.
- 5 years installation and maintenance of electronic equipment experience.

- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
