Electronics Technician

About the role

At ERS, we are a specialty disaster recovery company focusing on the restoration of machinery, electronics, appliances, musical instruments, and other specialty items after various types of losses such as fires, water damage, mold, and more. We are currently seeking a full-time Electronics Restoration Technician.

Responsibilities

• Work with our team of technicians to conduct testing, disassembly, restoration (training provided), reassemble, and troubleshoot items like electronics, appliances, and musical instruments.
• Primary work is done in our shop, but sometimes the work can take place at loss sites which may be hot and without power.
• Assist in field operations during packouts/deliveries, including driving a company vehicle, digital inventory, detaching, packing, and assisting with transport to/from our shop, as well as on-site restoration work.
• Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm, but some jobs may require staying late to complete tasks before leaving.

Requirements

• Speak clear English (a second language is a plus).
• Flexible with last-minute changes to schedule/job priority.
• Experience working on/troubleshooting electronics and appliances.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Working knowledge of home appliance installation and home theater components/installation.
• Willingness to travel for short periods (up to a week at a time) up to 20% of the time.
• Team player mentality.

Pay

$14 - $20 per hour, depending on experience level.

Schedule
