Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other technicians to address design and production issues
- Assemble, route, and install wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Assemble custom test equipment according to engineering drawings, interconnect diagrams and instructions using mechanical and electrical skills
- Populate circuit cards using approved soldering techniques both thru hole and surface mount
- Inspect and test harness assemblies for continuity, shorts, and proper operation using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment
- Diagnose and repair issues with wiring harnesses, connectors, and related components
- Provide constructive feedback on engineering designs to improve manufacturability and functionality of electronic assemblies
- Recommend updates for existing processes and work instructions as needed
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency
- Work in a team setting collaborating with manufacturing, planning and engineering
- Move, Transport, Position and/or remove 25–50 pounds on a regular basis
- Move or be in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Perform tasks requiring movement and operating of manufacturing tools and equipment
- Willingness and comply with all applicable PPE requirements (respirators, safety glasses, gloves, etc)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Experience in electronics assembly, with a focus on harness assembly
- Proficient in soldering, crimping, and using hand tools for assembly
- Proficient in using testing equipment such as multimeters, ocilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification preferred
- J-STD-001 certification preferred
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and interconnect diagrams
- Excellent people skills to include working in a diverse, and dynamic team environment
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
- Active Secret clearance is desired but not required
- Experience working in an environment that implements ESD and FOD controls
- Knowledge and understanding of product quality processes
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas is $36.78 - $41.58. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
Schedule
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.
