Position Summary

Performs routine troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical medical instruments and assemblies using released procedures, drawings, blueprints, etc., to meet established quality and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, adjust, and test analog/digital electromechanical medical instruments to established procedures and specifications (15%)
  • Accurately document repairs and/or tests on Quality Device History Records (5%)
  • Create labels and package medical instruments and assemblies (5%)
  • Complete daily work cell performance metric tracking (5%)
  • Evaluate repairs and complete customer repair quotes (5%)

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Electronics from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Equivalent Military experience
  • 4-7 years as an Electronic Technician or Service Technician

Competences

  • Must be able to read/write English and have Basic math skills.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift and handle materials up to 25 lbs.
