Electronics Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to production line calls and provide timely technical support
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance (inspections, lubrication, adjustments, part replacement)
• Maintain and support equipment such as conveyors, mixers, fillers, and packaging machines
• Assist with line setups, changeovers, and equipment startups
• Read and interpret basic electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and downtime causes in work orders
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety standards, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Identify and report safety hazards and equipment issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (required)
• A technical certification or Associate’s degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred)
• 2–4 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (preferred)

Technical Skills

• Experience with: Production and packaging equipment, Motors, conveyors, and sensors, Pneumatic and hydraulic systems, Basic knowledge of electrical systems (motor controls, relays, wiring, PLC I/O), Mechanical knowledge (bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, valves)
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
