Electronics Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations using various primary standards and M&TE according to prescribed work instructions.
- Prepare required documentation and maintain associated records.
- Convey data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate individuals or departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unusual product issues to the appropriate department.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, make repairs, resolve technical problems, and perform maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to the service center by customers in a lab setting.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Troubleshooting experience from school or hands-on work.
- Understanding of basic metrology concepts preferred (ISO).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude, meticulous, and works well in a team setting.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment.
- Six months of experience using automated test systems.
- Soldering experience.
- ISO knowledge.
About the role
The successful candidate will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair instruments and systems returned for service and/or repair. This role is typically found in areas such as service support and metrology, and requires troubleshooting to the component level.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.40 - $32.40/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
