Key Responsibilities
- Assemble surface-mount and through-hole printed circuit board assemblies.
- Perform PCB rework, including fine-pitch component replacement.
- Assemble discrete wire cable assemblies.
- Construct and maintain R&D prototype systems and production test fixtures.
- Perform testing and basic debugging of production PCB assemblies and electronic subsystems.
- Support characterization and troubleshooting efforts using standard electronic test equipment.
- Create and maintain production documentation and records.
- Maintain Quality Management System documentation and support process compliance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support new product introduction and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expert soldering, PCB assembly, and rework skills including fine-pitch SMD and through-hole components.
- Strong cable assembly and wire harness fabrication experience.
- J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 training or certification.
- Ability to interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience using standard electronic test equipment such as digital multimeters and laboratory power supplies.
- Basic board and system-level debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar productivity applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with subassembly integration and box-build assembly.
- Experience supporting R&D laboratory organization including management of tools, equipment, and electronic components.
- Familiarity with task management and product life cycle management software (Jira, Arena, etc.).
Education & Experience
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related technical field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
Additional Information
- Location: This position is based out of our Burlington, MA headquarters.
- Compensation: The annualized base pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $90,000 per year; the base pay offered may vary depending on several individualized factors, including market location, job-related skills, and experience. This position may also be eligible to receive additional compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives.
