Responsibilities

Supports the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) along with the areas and occupants of a Chapel and Convent.
Provides services and support in critical patient care areas such as Emergency Department, Linen & Central Services, Pediatric & Neonatal & other Intensive Care Units, Inpatient care areas requiring overnight stays for patients, Psychiatric & Complex Intervention Units, Transplant Units, Labor & Delivery, Cath Labs, and a Heliport.
Completes Preventive Maintenance (PM) per policies and/or procedures following the CMMS timeline.
Maintains building electronics, including card access, fire systems, security cameras, conveyance systems, intercoms, public address systems and cable TV.
Reads schematics, blueprints, and operates a variety of equipment related to the diagnosis of electronic equipment.
Prioritizes work appropriately and is available to work overtime as needed.
Is customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Continuously improves knowledge and abilities to become and remain proficient.

Qualifications

Requires a two-year degree from a technical school in electronics.
Four years of military experience in an electronic field will be considered in lieu of the educational requirements.
NICET Certification and Power Limited Technician is preferred, additional licensure and certification will be considered.
Valid Minnesota Driver's License is required.
