About the role

Plan, coordinate, and manage Brose embedded electronic control unit (ECU) software development programs for mechatronic frunk, Power Operated Tailgate (POT), power drop gates (PDG), power window regulators. Coordinate software delivery with customers, set workload for software development and testing teams in Auburn Hills, MI, Querétaro, Mexico, and Pune, India, to assure end-to-end embedded ECU software delivery.

Engineer, develop, integrate, test in vehicle, and validate embedded ECUs in Brose frunk including latch controls, POT, PDG, power window regulators, and HFA, using C/C++, Python, Assembly, and CAPL programming languages. Tools include Git, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, codeBeamer ALM, Eclipse IDE, TESSY, and Stateflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Thirty-six months’ experience as Software Engineer, Project Manager, or related role, coordinating or managing embedded ECU software development programs for automotive mechatronic components and coordinating software delivery with customers.
• Experience setting workload for software development and testing teams to assure end-to-end embedded ECU software delivery.
