About the role

The Electronics Auditor position is an excellent opportunity for recent retirees or consultants with experience in Printed Boards, Printed Board Assemblies, or Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies. Auditors enjoy traveling domestically and/or internationally, have a flexible schedule, receive competitive compensation including a daily rate plus travel expenses, and network with other industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Enjoy traveling domestically and/or internationally
  • Perform 1 or 2 audits a month or audit every week
  • Receive competitive compensation including a daily rate plus travel expenses
  • Network with other industry professionals

Requirements

  • High School Diploma plus at least 10 years working experience in the electronics industry (mainly in the manufacturing field, including quality)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Applied Science, with at least 5 years working experience in the electronics industry (mainly in the manufacturing field, including quality)
  • Good understanding of the technologies and workable knowledge of specifications associated with Printed Boards (e.g. IPC-6011, IPC-6012, IPC-A-600, etc), Printed Board Assemblies (e.g. IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033, ANSI/ESD S-20.20, etc) or Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies (e.g. IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-W-5088, etc)

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma and at least 10 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry (mainly in the manufacturing field, including quality)
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering or applied science, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry (mainly in the manufacturing field, including quality)
  • A good understanding of the technologies and workable knowledge of specifications associated with Printed Boards, Printed Board Assemblies, or Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
