Electronic Warfare (EW) Senior Program Manager with Security Clearance
About the role
The Electronic Warfare (EW) Senior Program Manager supports the Air Force Program Office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. They provide expert knowledge to projects supporting systems that intercept, identify, or utilize electromagnetic energy to determine, exploit, counter, reduce, or prevent hostile use of the electromagnetic spectrum. They also support OFPs, and/or airborne digital and/or analog computer hardware.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert knowledge to projects concerning support of OFPs, and/or airborne digital and/or analog computer hardware.
- Present briefings and assist with developing technical reports to document progress and results.
- Work with outside EW support organizations, such as AFSOC SOAWC DET 1, Robins AFB; NASIC EWIR; MSIC; NGIC; and NMIC; AFRL; IDAL; GTRI; as required in the OFP/threat table change/development and testing process.
Requirements
Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS)) or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, eight of which must be in the DoD. At least 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD. Top Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Qualifications
Education: Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS)). Allowable Substitution: BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD. OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, eight of which must be in the DoD.
Skills
Expert knowledge of electronic warfare systems and processes, ability to work with external support organizations, strong communication skills, proficiency in technical writing, and familiarity with relevant DoD regulations and standards.
