About the role
As an Electronic Warfare Engineer, you will apply your skills to enhance platform Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities. You will transform Mission Systems requirements to improve the EW performance of various platforms. This role involves working with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to improve performance, integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms, and develop future technologies within the EW discipline. You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to improve system performance and the warfighter's competitive edge.
Responsibilities
- Work with existing teams to understand current challenges and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with OEMs to develop and integrate upgrades.
- Assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to improve system performance.
- Analyze designs and provide technical input to enhance performance and integration ease.
- Support the transformation of Mission Systems requirements to improve EW performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
- Experience in EW systems and knowledge of systems integration challenges.
- Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations.
Qualifications
- Experience with modern Navy SPY radar systems.
- Experience with the SETR process.
- Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting.
- Knowledge of EW tracking systems.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
