About the role
The Electronic Test Technician Internship offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Aid in testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic products and systems.
- Support engineering and production teams with product performance evaluations and testing activities.
- Collect, record, and analyze test data while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assist in developing and updating work instructions, test procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
- Support calibration and maintenance of test equipment and instrumentation.
- Perform production testing and verification activities according to established procedures.
- Troubleshoot basic electronic assemblies and components under the guidance of engineering staff.
- Assist with product safety, quality, and regulatory testing activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
Qualifications
- Interest in electronics, engineering, manufacturing, or technology.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and troubleshooting concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
