About the role

Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH is seeking an Electronic Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, sing, and alignment of integrated cosite equipment (ICE) systems and subsystems.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and perform technical electronic functions with the assistance of other technicians and the aid of written procedures and instructions.
  • Troubleshoot systems performance to the module and circuit card component level.
  • Perform mechanical assembly such as installing a cover, installing cables or replacing a module in order to get the product to perform to specification properly.
  • Repair technicians will use oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and automated ss sets.
  • Knowledge of common RF s equipment (including calibration & troubleshooting equipment).
  • Knowledge of power amplifiers, synthesizers, power supplies, digital control circuitry, RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss as well as an advanced understanding of filter alignment and component function.
  • PC skills are required for data entry and use of s software.
  • Demonstrates ability to read schematics and troubleshoot simple circuits.
  • Experience with commonly used s equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meter, power supplies and network analyzer.
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification.

Requirements

  • Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)).
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2-year degree in an electronics field from an accredited college, university or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of RF related technician’s experience required.
  • Knowledge of J-STD-OO1 preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed is required.
