Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electronic products using schematics, test equipment, and technical documentation.
- Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair on printed circuit boards.
- Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other electronic bench equipment.
- Complete functional and in-circuit testing to verify product performance.
- Accurately document repairs and service activities in our repair database.
- Collaborate with Production Engineering to improve product manufacturability and testing processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report malfunctioning test equipment or fixtures to minimize downtime.
- Follow all company safety standards, quality procedures, and data security requirements.
- Support teammates by sharing knowledge, assisting with training, and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electronics, related certifications, or equivalent education and experience.
- Two or more years of experience in electronics manufacturing or electronic repair.
- Experience reading and interpreting electronic schematics.
- Knowledge of electronic components, identification codes, and proper orientation.
- Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment, including: Oscilloscopes, Digital multimeters, Spectrum analyzers, Signal generators.
- Experience soldering fine-pitch surface mount and through-hole components.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Dependable attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
