About the role
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Electronic Technician 3 to support the design, assembly, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems for mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and subassemblies.
- Operate specialized test stations and equipment, with a focus on RF applications and TWT tuning.
- Execute test procedures, accurately record data, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and military standards.
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and calibration records, adhering to safety and ESD protocols.
- Support root cause analysis of test failures, including data collection and implementation of corrective actions.
- Affirm environmental testing and system-level verification.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be available to work OT and possibly weekdays.
- This is a 4th shift position, working from 6am to 6:30pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
- Training will be conducted during 1st shift hours.
Qualifications
- Electronic Technician 3: High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience; OR an Associate’s degree in Electronics with 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in military or aerospace manufacturing or depot environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Active Secret clearance, or above, required to start.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RF applications, TWT tuning, automated testing, and MPM/TX testing.
- Experience with automated test systems and data acquisition software.
- Experience with SAP/GOLD/ Microsoft Office suites.
- Experience working with use of any RF test instruments such as (but not limited to) Performance Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.

$63,500.00 - $105,900.00
