About the role
The Electronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and equipment. They ensure these devices and systems function effectively and efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety and compliance with relevant standards.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure electronic equipment and systems based on specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and fix faults or malfunctions in electronic systems to minimize downtime and prevent breakdowns.
- Test equipment, diagnose issues, and calibrate devices to ensure they operate within proper parameters.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users, as well as assisting engineers or other professionals in system design and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades or improvements to enhance performance, efficiency, or cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Calibrate and test electronic devices and systems to ensure they function properly, meet specifications, and are within tolerances required for operational use.
- Develop and standardize work procedures related to the maintenance of electronic systems, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a consistent and efficient manner in line with TPM principles.
- Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other departments to resolve technical issues, improve systems, and enhance productivity.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of electronic components, tools, and spare parts, ensuring the necessary resources are available for repairs and maintenance.
- Train and mentor less experienced technicians or operators, sharing knowledge about equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
- Absorb and perform autonomous maintenance tasks.
- Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and techniques in electronics, and apply this knowledge to improve systems, processes, and equipment.
Requirements
- An electronic, technical, or related degree.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electronics troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, especially in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Established Electronic skills.
- Basic Technical Skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Good mathematical and computer skills.
- Team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to perform regular physical tasks such as lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.

Pay
$30.49 per hour. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday schedules with the following shift: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
