Electronic Technician 2

About the role

This role supports the F35 EODAS System, where precision, safety, and adherence to specialized processes are critical. The selected candidate will perform a variety of technical functions in support of the design, assembly, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems for mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and subassemblies.
• Operate specialized test stations and equipment, with a focus on the F35 platform.
• Execute test procedures, accurately record data, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and military standards.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation and calibration records, adhering to safety and ESD protocols.
• Support root cause analysis of test failures, including data collection and implementation of corrective actions.
• Affirm environmental testing and system-level verification.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.
• Be available to work overtime and possibly weekends.

Requirements

• Electronic Technician 2: High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in electronics; OR an Associate’s degree in Electronics with 0 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience handling CCAs.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electronic Technician 2: Experience with automated test systems and data acquisition software.
• Fiber Optics experience.
• Experience with ESD components handling.
• Experience with SAP/GOLD/ Microsoft Office suites.
• Experience working with use of any test instruments such as (but not limited to) Performance Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.
• Experience in military or aerospace manufacturing or depot environments.
• DOD security clearance.

Pay

The annual salary range for this role is $53,500.00 - $89,100.00.

Schedule

This role is based out of Rolling Meadows, IL and does not require travel.
