About the role
The main purpose of this job is to support Merchant services by providing operational support, handling inquiries, and maintaining merchant accounts and related services. This role will assist with merchant setup, maintenance, and ensure a high level of service for internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Review account activities and provide reporting and maintenance for merchant services
- Minimize risk to the Bank and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
- Monitor centralized email boxes and systems to respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide high-touch service that reflects professionalism, responsiveness, and a positive attitude when supporting merchant-related requests via phone/email
- Adequately adhere to all internal controls to mitigate risk
- Serve as a backup to other positions within the department
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of applicable regulations and operational processes
- Basic analytical, initiative, independent thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues as appropriate
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 1+ year financial operations experience required
- Merchant services or payments experience preferred

Pay
Compensation Range: Hourly: $19.00 - $24.50 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
Schedule
Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday)
