Electronic Security Project Manager

About the role

i2G specializes in advanced physical electronic security and life-safety solutions, including surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, biometrics, fence sensors, radars, ground sensors, and anti-drone technologies. We excel in design, project management, commissioning, and enterprise technology integrations. As an Electronic Security Project Manager in Phoenix, Arizona, you will lead a team of security technicians and subcontractors installing ACS, IDS, CCTV, intercom, and other low-voltage systems. You will coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring robust communication with customers and internal teams to meet stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Project management experience in an electronic security system environment
• Lead and mentor a team of Senior/Lead Technicians, Junior Technicians, and subcontractors
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure work meets i2G systems and stakeholder expectations
• Strong communication skills with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors
• Read and interpret security system drawings, electrical, and civil drawing packages
• Manage integration engineers programming electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, etc.)
• Maintain project equipment inventory, red-line drawings, and quality control
• Assist with creating proposals as needed
• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple projects, reporting job status, schedule updates, risk mitigation, changes, and material needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with electronic security systems (required)
• Previous project management experience in the electronic security systems field
• Working knowledge of Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, fire systems, and/or DMP (a plus)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), scheduling software (MS Project, SimPro, or Smartsheets), and Microsoft Windows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• Direct experience with Lenel, Axis, Software House, or Verint training certifications (highly desired but not required)
• Training and certifications in the above product lines and PMP certification (preferred)
