Electronic Machine Builder- 4th Shift

About the role

You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.

This role supports 4th shift: Monday & Friday 10:00 pm–6:00 am and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 pm–10:00 am. Training may take place on a different shift, and the role may include mandated overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts, and/or verbal instructions.
• Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs, and adjustable parameters; record non-adjustable parameters.
• Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical, and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
• Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
• Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
• Disassemble, replace parts, readjust, and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting at the level consistent with the schooling required.
• May assist or instruct other Electro-Mechanical Builders or employees at lower labor grades.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or university (e.g., Intro to Electronics I and II). Transcripts must be provided.
• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $31.86. This compensation information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
