About the role
You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.
This role supports 5th shift: Monday & Friday 10:00 am–6:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am–10:00 pm. Please note training may take place on a different shift, and the role may include mandated overtime.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts, and/or verbal instructions.
- Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs, and adjustable parameters; record non-adjustable parameters.
- Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical, and optical checking equipment.
- Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
- Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
- Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
- Disassemble, replace parts, readjust, and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or university (e.g., Intro to Electronics I and II). Must be able to provide transcripts.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or the ability to obtain an export authorization).
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship for work visas is not available for this position.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $31.86. Compensation is based on factors including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education, training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
