About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Electronic Instrumentation Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday). In this role, you will handle electrical, instrumentation, control, and process equipment requirements for high-speed filling and packaging equipment, sterilization tunnels, ovens, process support systems, and vision systems. You will troubleshoot high-performance production equipment, evaluate and order critical spare parts, and maintain equipment logs in accordance with SOP and cGMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control issues on all production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Repair, adjust, and troubleshoot plant-wide control and instrumentation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Maintain electronic equipment maintenance logs and documentation in accordance with SOP and cGMP guidelines.
  • Maintain documentation of all in-house instrumentation, including PMs.
  • Provide technical support to other plant departments.
  • Use electronics, instruments, and controls to perform system analysis of equipment.
  • Maintain electronic test and repair equipment in a high state of readiness.
  • Work shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Assist in set-ups, changeovers, and start-up adjustments of equipment as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management personnel.
  • Maintain gowning qualification and status.

Qualifications

  • High School education and a Certificate of completion from a 2-3 year electrical/instrumentation trade or technical school (desired).
  • Minimum five (5) years of maintenance experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed equipment, instrumentation, and processes.
  • Understanding of instrumentation and controls.
  • Ability to read electrical prints and P&IDs.
  • Ability to communicate with manufacturers worldwide for support.
  • Knowledge of vision systems (a plus).
  • Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting equipment, including oscilloscopes, volt/ampere meters, frequency standards, calibration equipment, and programmable logic controllers/HMI.
  • Excellent knowledge in the use of precision electronic equipment.
  • Experience in equipment Corrective Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, and spare part systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • cGMP experience (a plus).

Pay

Hourly Rate: $30.50 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as work location, prior experience, relevant skills, and current business needs.
