Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, implement, support, and maintain specifications for set-ups and enhancements with 834 EDI application interfaces and HPI’s online enrollment portal.
- Implement scalable solutions to prepare for future growth.
- Develop and maintain programs and processes that manage inbound enrollment data.
- Configure various applications to ensure consistent and optimal performance related to enrollment activities.
- Serve as a liaison for internal and external technical staff and business areas to set up enrollment data transfer processes in a timely manner.
- Coordinate 834 EDI testing and trading partner implementation initiatives.
- Respond to inquiries regarding 834 EDI technical transfers and online enrollment activities.
- Absess older setups, offering suggestions and implementing automated improvements.
- Aid the Supervisor in analyzing, designing, and developing specifications for enhancements with 834 EDI application interfaces.
- Investigate, test, and provide feedback to management on new processes and potential issues.
- Troubleshoot existing applications and identify opportunities for improvement within related departments.
- Create and maintain documentation including design documents and process flows.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- 3+ years of experience working at a TPA or in a related industry preferred.
- Experience with ANSI 834 EDI transaction sets preferred.
- Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytic skills and aptitude.
- Recognize and maintain confidentiality of work materials as appropriate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, proven ability to organize complex processes involving multiple, detailed tasks and multiple inputs.
- Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information.
- Ability to work within specified timeframe and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of the team.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently and accurately.
