Electronic Design Engineer

Duration: 12 months (temporary assignment, onsite)
Pay Rate: $39.00 – $55.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, design, testing, and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board (PCB) modules for aircraft.
- Apply electrical engineering theory and operate electronic test equipment to test and troubleshoot avionics/electrical modules or systems.
- Model and simulate electronic circuits using SPICE software.
- Design printed circuit board layouts using Altium design software.
- Modify and maintain programmable logic designs in FPGAs and CPLDs.
- Prepare engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authorities.
- Prepare functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies.
Requirements
- Proficient in analog and digital circuit design.
- Software programming experience with the C programming language.
- Desired knowledge of control systems and embedded processor design.
- Design experience with Field‑Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and Verilog or VHDL.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards (DO‑254, DO‑160, MIL‑STD‑810, MIL‑STD‑704, MIL‑STD‑461) or similar industry standards.
- At least 2 years of experience in electronics engineering or a related field.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees considered as additional experience).
- Related degrees with relevant experience will also be considered.
Pay
$39.00 – $55.00 per hour
