Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, cross-platform desktop applications using Electron.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate cutting-edge UI/UX designs.
  • Utilize front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to enhance application interfaces.
  • Implement API integration and manage data flow within desktop applications.
  • Work with Node.js for backend operations, ensuring seamless application functionality.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Electron and a strong background in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and their integration into Electron applications.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and backend development practices.
  • A keen understanding of cross-platform development challenges and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow software development best practices.
  • Knowledge of software packaging and distribution specific to Electron applications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks within the Electron ecosystem.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Pay

Surge offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your experience and expertise in Electron development.
