Electromechanical Field Service Technician--Floater [FST - Charleston, WV]

About the role

Field Service Maintenance Technicians perform preventative maintenance and reactive service repair on paint and electromechanical equipment at big-box retailers. You will service stores within a 3-hour radius of your market, traveling overnight up to 2½ weeks per month (average 2 weeks). The role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and provide solutions
• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of light industrial equipment (paint shakers, tinters, mobility carts, check-out stands, mobile storage systems, cutters, etc.)
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment
• Ability to read schematics
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
