Electromechanical Engineer (Binghamton, NY)

About the role

This position is located at our Client's Binghamton, NY office within the Program Management Services Division. The division provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs, offering a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Responsibilities

• Create one-line diagrams aligned with system study requirements
• Develop general arrangement and layout drawings
• Apply substation civil engineering knowledge
• Prepare major equipment bid specifications
• Perform detailed estimate and probability modeling
• Conduct structure calculations
• Execute insulation, A/C interference, static wire, and grounding studies

Requirements

• 2–5 years of engineering experience in the functional area
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology
• Professional Engineer (PE) license requested

Pay

Salary range: $75,000 – $120,000. The specific salary offered may be influenced by factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
