Electromechanical Assembler

Our client, a world-leading medical device company focused on improving lives through innovative, consumer-centered solutions is seeking Electromechanical Assembly Technicians to join their team on a contract basis. Location: Trumbull, CT Pay rate: Up to $23/hr Schedule: 1st shift (Mon-Thurs. 6AM-4:30PM) Job type: Contract (can convert or extend) Job Summary Assemble, test, and package electromechanical sub-assemblies and finished products according to approved work instructions and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble small, precision components and intricate sub-assemblies using hand tools and magnification equipment. Build finished products according to approved method sheets and production procedures. Perform mechanical and electrical testing to ensure products meet quality and performance specifications. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, PPE, ESD, and cleanroom requirements. Identify potential quality concerns and communicate issues or improvement suggestions to leadership. Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily production goals, including overtime as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of hands-on electromechanical assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Experience with hand tools, small-part assembly, and working on an assembly line. Ability to assemble precision components using a microscope or other magnification equipment. Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and work instructions. Soldering experience preferred. Medical device assembly or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus. This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
