About the role

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for the Custom Products Group, supporting both ESG In-lined and ESG Automation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Building, testing, and debugging custom electromechanical testing systems and accessories based on complex blueprints, diagrams, and verbal instructions.
  • Modifying components using hand and power tools, and identifying non-conforming materials.
  • Training employees, providing technical support, and collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Reviewing product structures, managing project documentation, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Providing feedback to project engineers on design modifications and improvements.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and working on multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and skills required

  • 5+ years of electromechanical assembly or similar experience.
  • High school diploma or GED; technical associate degree preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and electrical wiring skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and use test/calibration equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective communication skills and physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate material handling equipment.

Work environment: Plant setting with exposure to dust, noise, lubricants, and power tools.
