About the role
Aurora Medical Center is seeking a part-time Cardiography Technician to join our team. This position is eligible for benefits and operates on a 0.6 FTE schedule, working 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic tests including electrocardiograms, Holter monitors, and other cardiac monitoring systems.
- Ensures accurate documentation in electronic medical records and equipment.
- Screens patient calls, interviews patients, and follows critical test values.
- Communicates with medical staff regarding uncertain rhythms or critical test values.
- Processes medical information, edits, bills, files, and copies.
- Provides basic education on cardiac testing and ensures follow-up with medical staff.
- Performs patient positioning and transporting duties, including lifting and pushing/pulling.
- Performs calibration and troubleshooting procedures on ECG and stress equipment.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months of hire.
- Completion of an approved basic ECG interpretation course within one year of hire.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly change priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with physicians, patients, and other staff members.
- Basic computer skills.

Pay
$20.80 - $31.20 per hour.
Schedule
Part time, 0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday's, 6am - 6:30pm, no call.
