Electrocardiograph Technician
Summary
Performs direct patient care and electrocardiograms (ECG's). Reviews provider's orders and performs ancillary tests. Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares equipment and supplies, positions patients and analyzes results. Identifies issues with quality of tracings, including re-positioning patients and repeating procedures. Monitors patient condition continually and reports on or responds to changes in status and adverse results as appropriate. Maintains equipment in clean, working condition. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date

Pay
$19.67 - $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
