Electrocardiograph Laboratory Supervisor - UWMC-Montlake ECG Lab
About the role
The Heart Institute at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake campus has an outstanding opportunity for an Electrocardiograph (ECG) Lab Lab Supervisor. Work Schedule 100% FTE, Full-time, 40-hours-per-week Day Shift, Monday-Friday.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of UWMC-Montlake ECG Lab
- Provide technical oversight to ECG procedures including – 12 lead and 15 lead ECGs, Holter monitors, event monitors and stress tests performed within the University of Washington Medical Center’s Heart Institute clinics
- Clinical Leadership & Patient Care - Deliver direct patient care and perform duties of the ECG Technologist 2, serving patients at least 50% of the time
- Program Oversight - Oversee daily operations of ECG Lab department, including study processing and assignment workflows of ECG procedures performed within the University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake, affiliated clinics, and partner services
- Team Development & Communication - Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
- Quality & Safety - Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality services that align with organizational and regulatory standards
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Two years of experience as an ECG Technician 2
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Certified by the National Alliance of Cardiovascular Technologists
