Electro-Mechanical Technician - VPS

Full-time, non-exempt position located at Eglin AFB, Florida. Shifts include A.M., overnight, and P.M.

About the role

ERMC Aviation, LLC is seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with 3+ years of experience on automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Repair critical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Communicate accurately, concisely, and professionally with managers, production staff, and customers.
• Repair production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex automated machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
• Acquire new electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics knowledge to stay current on technology.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government ID and Social Security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
