Essential Functions
- Demonstrate some electrical circuit board assembly and repair skills, including surface mount and through hole component soldering.
- Use basic test/troubleshooting tools like volt/ohm meters and basic digital scopes.
- Show good dexterity and hand/eye coordination for handling complex small electrical components and hardware.
- Work with a microscope for extended periods.
- Proficient with mechanical hand tools and basic machine tools.
- Able to read and interpret assembly drawings, manage stock and part procurement, and follow work instructions.
- Perform daily and weekly shop cleanup and organization.
- Comply with ISO 9001 processes and company quality policy.
- Log time worked daily by project code.
- Support other departments as needed.
- Have some programming skills using Atmel or similar software.

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands or fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 25 to 30 lbs.
- Requires ability to work on items repetitively.
Education and Experience
- High school or technical school graduate.
- 5 years previous experience in electrical assembly.
- Small part assembly experience a plus.
- IPC-A-610 certification a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Full time position consisting of 40+ hours per week.
- Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
- This position may require long hours and weekend work due to production, rework, or customer deadlines.
