About the role

Assembly technician for laboratory testing equipment. Responsible for building assemblies as well as entire instruments. Installing of components such as Heaters, Temperature controllers, PCB boards, LCD displays, wiring, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Install components such as Heaters, Temperature controllers, PCB boards, LCD displays, wiring, etc.
  • Build instrumentation utilizing Engineering documents such as; Schematics, Work instructions, Assembly drawings, and Assembly procedures.
  • PC skills with the ability to install various firmware/embedded code.
  • Precision soldering skills and strong chassis point-to-point wiring skills are a must.
  • Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, including light plumbing and fittings assembly.
  • Ability to Test and validate the proper function of finished instruments.
  • HVAC/Refrigeration, system components, and flow working knowledge are a huge plus.
  • Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lead and guide.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • PC skills with the ability to install various firmware/embedded code.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and testing.

  • Basic PC skills with the ability to install various firmware/embedded code.
  • Experience with precision soldering and chassis point-to-point wiring.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting, including light plumbing and fittings assembly.
  • Experience with HVAC/Refrigeration, system components, and flow.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Leadership and guiding abilities.
