Electro-Mechanical Assembler I (Temporary)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Reads work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions.
• Performs troubleshooting and module swapping to repair products.
• Sets up and aligns parts in specified relationships using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
• Screws, soldered, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Mounts assembled components on printed circuit boards.
• Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases.
• Attaches hardware such as caps, clamps, straps, and switches to assemblies.
• Performs network go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Skills/Abilities

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Practical skills in electronics manufacturing and proficiency in using common tools.
• Understanding of assembly processes.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years related experience or training.
• Two years related experience preferred.
