What You’ll Be Doing
- Understand and follow plant safety rules including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safe machine operation
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications, and technical data
- Work on motors, contactors, and relays using a multimeter to verify component functionality
- Operate advanced shop equipment such as band saws, mills, and lathes
- Maintain chillers, process pumps, compressors, ink pumps, and glue pumps
- Analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and PLC systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration with minimal downtime
- Diagnose root causes of production equipment failures and determine best corrective action
- Document parts used and repairs completed in CMMS
- Absorb and maintain spare parts inventory and parts room organization
- Perform repairs on plant production and facility equipment
- Participate in TOPPAN’s Global Performance System (GPS) activities including audits, pillar teams, and near misses
- Maintain safe operational conditions of all production and related equipment
- Use required personal protective equipment
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Industrial manufacturing experience or military experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Industry experience with blown film, sheet extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, slitting, or related ancillary equipment is preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience and knowledge of industrial motor controls
- Can operate a forklift
- Comfortable with lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with rotating schedules, overtime, and weekend work

Pay
$37.43 – $39.85/hour (depending on experience) + ($2.00 shift differential if applicable)
Schedule
5:45 AM – 6:15 PM OR 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | 12-hour continental schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next, off every other weekend)
