About the role
Troy 7 Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability and safety
- Diagnose electrical issues and implement corrective actions
- Support system upgrades, modifications, and new installations
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and site-specific requirements
- Utilize electrical testing equipment and tools to verify system performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and repairs
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and facility teams
- Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship, technical training, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite in a secure federal facility
Qualifications
- Electrician I (Entry-Level): 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Electrician II (Mid-Level): 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Electrician III (Senior-Level): 6+ years of relevant experience
Skills
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Experience supporting NASA, DoD, or other federal facilities
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or research environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
