Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the chicken plant as described in the electrician training book.
• Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance, repair, or install equipment.
• General cleaning and/or assist other crews as required, maintaining safety, housekeeping, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain disease control requirements while performing job duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Plant Electrician or scale technician in a production environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass an electrical test to determine skill level.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work from a ladder.
• Able to work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Able to submit and pass a criminal background check.

Pay

The pay range is $27.25 to $41.75 per hour, with additional compensation for hours worked outside standard shifts.

Schedule

Rotating shifts and weekends are required.

Skills
