Electrician - Plant 1 (Nights)
About the role
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the chicken plant as described in the electrician training book. Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance, repair, or install equipment. Assist with general cleaning and other crews as required to maintain safety, housekeeping, sanitation, and disease control standards while performing job duties.
Pay
$27.25 to $41.75 per hour (based on experience). Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 pm and 11:59 pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 am and 4:59 am.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Plant Electrician or scale technician in a production environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Must pass an electrical test to determine skill level.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work from a ladder.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
